Walz and Gavin are running for Prez for sure given that both are trying to “talk to the other side”, something that is a constant theme for democrats inability to do so.

Let’s see who does it better, but I have a feeling the strategy will not hold. There is no talking to lunatics in order to convince them of what they chose.

I mean bush, Cheney, etc couldn't get through to "regular" GOPers... What hope is there?

No one said to cede currently red or even traditionally red parts of the country. Just that speaking to Bannon or Kirk (read: nazi) acolytes isn't the way to reach the ones who might gravitate towards a different message.
