Of course we wasted a ton... when vials have 10 doses in each one but we have the late vaxx/not getting fired crowd waltzing in for shots as they like you can't possibly schedule to use full vials.

But doses are expiring every day. That's the preventable part. Most of the doses on hand came several months ago and the shelf life for these ain't that long. Boosters should already be approved for 50+'s after 5 months. Israel's aggressive strategy was clearly a success.

They wind up tossing them because people who want them are continually told they have to wait their turn even though there is no huge demand any more. Everyone who wanted to get vaxxed is vaxxed now. There are no more pop-up clinics with people lined up around the block waiting for boosters but the government is acting as though there's a shortage.

There was a mobile vaccine clinic bus at Home Building Center, yesterday. Not a great place to put it, since NOBODY goes to Home Building Center. Lot's of parking I suppose.
