OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

Yeah, the peak is behind us thankfully

The numbers at the top are almost definitely really wrong (we blew past our testing capability), but the general shape of the wave is likely to be more or less accurate.

The tail of these waves can result in more cases and hospitalizations than on the way up! Hope we have a sharp drop but that is not the case in most countries (and even if it happens it means we're only just over half way there). Need to stay vigilent!

NHL announces today that after the ASB they will no longer test asymptomatic players.

Sorry presto, but that valuable reinfection data is gonna have to come from somewhere else.

No testing, no cases.

it is over

get used to it

My youngest just tested positive. Fever, fatigue etc but otherwise good.

He just had his second dose on Monday though and started showing symptoms the next day so we brushed it off a side effect from the vax however his symptoms haven't subsided. Would that cause a false positive on an antigen test?

Nah. He's positive. Hope he feels better soon.

Thats what I assumed as well. So much random info out there on it I figured Dr Presto would have the answer

Some evidence that his 2nd dose may even help minimize severity even if he caught it before or on the day of. So fingers crossed that it's not a difficult bout.

I hope he’s better soon. It’s so hard to see the kiddos struggle with this.
