OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

I feel like every warm climate is at a huge advantage. You never need to go inside. Especially if you don't have AC. Not that I think Cuba didn't do a great job

After a wave of cases in the first week and a half at my daughter's school things seem to have slowed down considerably. Burned through quick. Obvious anecdotal but could be a positive sign.

Most warm weather climates have a rainy/monsoon season where being outdoors kind of sucks dick during.

I was at a wedding in Vallarta in October a few years ago, which is the tail end of the local rainy season (Jul-Oct). The entire 10 days I was there was 30-33 degrees plus humidity, with rain forest levels of humidity. For comparison, Toronto's wettest months are usually in the 70-80mm of rain range. Sub tropical mexico gets 300-400mm in a bad month during rainy season and can average 300mm+ over the course of 3-4 months. I'm going to assume that the caribbean isn't much different at that time of the year.

Not having a winter isn't the cheat code for being able to get out of the house all the time that most of us would think man.

Yeah Cuba gets destroyed around those months too. Coincidentally enough that's when they had their huge delta wave, which they beat by rapid vaccination and likely improved weather helped as well.

Strictly regular use of ivermectin as prophylaxis for COVID-19 leads to a 90% reduction in COVID-19 mortality rate, in a dose-response manner: definitive results of a prospective observational study of a strictly controlled 223,128 population from a city-wide program in Southern Brazil

Oh and hey Lucy Kerr had received funding from the manufacturer of ivermectin. Fuck big pharma.

Holy these dumbasses are easily fooled. Also lmao researchgate. One quick look at the study (which beleafer obviously didn't do) and it's a disaster. Thankfully someone broke it down already. It's insane how much the ivermectin conspiracy gang are sheep.

Seriously though beleafer watch the video I posted. You'll be enlightened as the why ivermectin is not a viable treatment for this particular disease. It was worth trialing and I wish it worked but it simply doesn't.

The COI statement itself is LOL. “the authors declare no conflict… except for these conflicts.”

Whoever this guy is, he's done.
He won't be accepting views that skew off his own.
That's what brainwashing is.

Do you guys think they'll drop some of the return to Canada testing requirements in the near term? The 'within 72 hour' thing makes it kinda pointless, especially with Omicron.

The tragedy is that he thinks too highly of himself to ever understand or realize that he's a really stupid human being who got duped by grifters. Narcissism is a chain reaction, especially when you're really not intelligent at all.

The whole entry thing makes no sense. Ontario had 30-50k cases a day a few weeks ago and we’re worried about someone entering the country with it?
