OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

Yeah there is a lot of exciting research out there; some that have potential to completely end the pandemic and end the threat of covid entirely (big ask, but the upside is there). We were never gonna have all of our bullets available within the first 2 years; these things take time. Just wish they would Operation Warp Speed that shit but it seems like the level of urgency has tailed off bigly. Most trials out there are moving at a snails pace.

Kenney leading the charge and caving to the loons. REP program done as of tonight, masks K-12 done as of Monday and no more indoor masks as of March 1st

The nutters will claim victory and use this going forward as a tactic to push for other things they dont like
I'm fine with it. This is a pandemic of the unvaxxed so the only ones who are going to die are them. I would have had things opened up a long time ago for anyone who could prove they were vaccinated and I would have only placed restrictions on the unvaxxed. But Kenney's base are the lunatics so he's only going to enable them, not punish them. But in the end it's those idiots who are most at risk. Anyone with a brain who's in a high risk group will still take precautions.

I'm flying to Seoul then Manilla next month. Pandemic in Asia. Woot'

Making sure that booster is in me

I deleted two posts due to some pretty extreme dialogue - I know everyone hates moderation around here, however it was a bit TOO much. Carry on!

I wonder who wrote them.....

I wonder.....

Pretty sure Seoul and Manilla are doing a much better job of managing the pandemic than Florida. Maybe you should stay.

Hey @Wayward DP how's that paralegal?
oh man. you have good (/terrible?) timing.

she's been back in office for I want to say about a week now? not at 100% but able to work. until today, when her fever shot back up to 102 and she began sweating like crazy. getting a rush on her bloodwork...the saga continues.

and another colleague left today as they found out they are a close contact.

I guess our provincial government gave retailers rapid tests to give out for free and Walmart put in a $35 minimum purchase requirement.

wtf?
