OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

After many close calls this may be it finally! Kid is mildly symptomatic today and showing the very first signs of something that seems a lil different than a cold. Been doing things lately so we figured it was only a matter of time till I get hit again. I would have loved to have kept running from this but this thing is making sure to infect every single person. Again and again. Really hard to avoid at this stage.

So... any better today?

So... any better today?
So we had some exposure with a positive case but we later found out she was exposed just a day or two before we saw her. My gut tells me she wasnt infectious yet. We could have caught it elsewhere too tho. Kid had symptoms including a lowgrade fever and a cough the first day and has gotten progressively better since (and 100% today) so maybe another false alarm. Mrs. Preston and I are fine.

Hope you feel ok this time around btw.

Thanks peeps. So far it's pretty shitty... a lot like I felt the first time. I really hope that the vaccine really shortens the durations and limits the symptoms.

So far the wife is symptom free, so that would be great.
You try theraflu? Some say it helps with symptoms

when i think i got it the second time (was never confirmed with a positive test but firmly believe it was omicron) it felt almost exactly like the first time did but was over way quicker so hopefully that's the case with you too.

They don't. Just gives you a metallic taste in your mouth and maybe some nausea for some. But it tends to stop covid symptoms almost immediately for most. If you're having a rough go and are within five days of symptoms it's the definite move to make.
Oh yeah. If the side effects aren't more than annoyances then sure.

I likely won't go to a doctor unless it gets worse. I used the government issued test (thank you Biden) to confirm that it was Covid.
