I've never been angrier about giving away one of my freezers about half a year ago. Had a nice big one but decided to sell it because I figured, what's the use with only 2 people here? And then China unleashed this shit on us.

It's only been three weeks is the depressing part. 13 more weeks to go. Crazy.
 
It makes you think about what the hell is going on in the developing world right now, where they didn't have enough food, water or medicine to begin with.
 
I gotta imagine any food is still good until June or July, but the big problem is if we still have all this stuff going on into the fall. There's no way as hell we're getting strawberries from Chile in October for less than like 10$ a pint.

But I know nothing about global supply chains, and you have to think some suppliers are going to want to keep some stuff in reserve in case things go further downhill. What that does to the summer supply, hard to say.
 
Time to break out the sprouts again. Wonder exactly what I can grow on my balcony. Tomatoes, herbs, lettuce maybe?

Definitely wishing I had more freezer space too.

Nobody cares. It's self preservation at this point. They'll get help once advanced countries stabilize. It's the unfortunate truth of the situation.

Me too. My freezer is what is attached to my refrigerator and storage space is limited. The joys of living in the centre of a city. At least I can walk to wherever I need to go. Oh...wait I can go for a walk but not to anyplace.

I have two fridges both with freezers plus two chest freezers. I'm good.

People used to mock me for prepping, it was never about zombies.
