OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

BTW, anyone having a hard time finding flour etc. at grocery stores could try Bulk Barn.

They have a fairly reasonable handling policy in place right now and our local one was fully stocked. Only downside is you have to get it in their bags, which can be a pain to transfer (not sure if they are allowing you to fill your own container at this time).

Bonus upside is our location had all their easter candy 25-75% off. $5/lb for Cadbury mini eggs. My kids are gonna be like pigs in shit tomorrow lol.

Daddy too

This is a good suggestion. Someone scored some yeast for me at a Bulk Barn so I can get back to baking.

Not sure why we're not looking at other major cities and doing the things they've been forced to do ahead of time. Why not set up the Metro Toronto Convention Center as a field hospital proactively?
I have no doubt they ARE looking at this stuff. But just saying they're looking at things can set false expectations.

We should be past the "looking at stuff" part and things should already be in motion.

This has followed a very predictable path in every country it's hit so far. There are temporary hospitals in convention centres in New York, Madrid, London, etc.

I'm assuming that's what the military isolation period is about and not martial law like the facebook nutters are on about. The worst of the ICU bed shortage tracks with when members of the military will come out of their isolation period

The definitive cure is on amazon. ca. All who have been kind can pm me. I am buying a lot of it. I have no commercial connection whatsoever with the company.

My son doesn't believe in it , nor do my very wealthy mother and father

After I purchase a ton of it. I will reveal. Is sold on amazon. Out of shit grows flowers, all I can say.

I bought a ton of supplies for Y2K and I hope this is just another scare, but I want to be supplied.

Anyone here old enough to remember the Y2K scare?

The difference here? Is that in y2k, they didn't shut down the economy. Makes me think, its still more bullshit, but much more agenda is intended here.

In my long life, I have never seen "them" shut down small businesses like they are now. That is historic.

yes , my favorite but they must be dark chocolate

So I'm one of the few people that hasn't stocked up much. But I did buy a party pack of Hershey's Kisses Dark Chocolate and am having like four per day. My eating habits, which were literally better than anyone on this planet up till a few weeks ago, have gone completely to shit during this fucking crisis. That plus a rotator cuff injury that had kept me out of hockey and other exercise for around six weeks before this shit all started has made for a very unhealthy and somewhat chunkier LOF right now.
