OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

So I'm one of the few people that hasn't stocked up much. But I did buy a party pack of Hershey's Kisses Dark Chocolate and am having like four per day. My eating habits, which were literally better than anyone on this planet up till a few weeks ago, have gone completely to shit during this fucking crisis. That plus a rotator cuff injury that had kept me out of hockey and other exercise for around six weeks before this shit all started has made for a very unhealthy and somewhat chunkier LOF right now.

I dropped 5 pounds in 3 weeks , I dont snack much but working from home keeps me from eating junk food a few times a week or having dinner and beers with friends .

I have been disciplined over 25 years , its a way of life now

Walking my 10-15k steps a day without Goodlife

Dude's a legend.

John Prine has been hospitalized since Thursday after suffering from symptoms synonymous with the novel coronavirus. While Prine’s exact medical condition is unclear, “his situation is critical,” his family said in a statement Sunday.

“After a sudden onset of COVID-19 symptoms, John was hospitalized on Thursday. He was intubated Saturday evening, and continues to receive care, but his situation is critical,” the Prine family wrote.

“This is hard news for us to share. But so many of you have loved and supported John over the years, we wanted to let you know, and give you the chance to send out more of that love and support now. And know that we love you, and John loves you.”

I don't think I'd be very good at stocking up. I could buy 5 pounds of dark chocolate almonds and they'd probably still be gone within a week...

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I can resist buying junk food in the first place, but if it’s close at hand I’ll mow through it right quick. That’s why I usually don’t keep any junk food at my house.

So, stocking up on enough treats for the long-haul isn’t really an option. I put a lot of work in over the past couple of years dropping a lot of weight and getting in shape, and I have no intention of blowing that all up during this pandemic.

So, I pretty much just look forward to grabbing a few chocolate bars whenever I’m on one of my grocery trips every 2-3 weeks.

Mmmmm chocolate. I’ve always loved a good daily chocolate binge but a couple years ago had to get a grip on it. Now I can content myself with my daily three squares from a family size chocolate bar.

What I am really missing is my weekly $5.00 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, small fries and senior drink with my aqua-fit group.:(

Being able to eat out and be out is what keeps me practicing good habits. I ate lunch out every single day for the past 17 years since I've been working, and have never taken lunch to the office. Don't believe in it, don't want to eat at my desk. I grab lunch out every day, and almost every day lunch consists of salmon over salad. And that's it. No snacking in between. No junk food really. But now getting lunch isn't as easy or convenient (or safe) and so I'm buying a few days worth of crap (turkey and bread, sushi, whatever) and eating it each day. I can do better, but I'm just very much outside my comfort zone with this shit and am resisting it on some level.
