OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

That site is great. They had a note up about France a few days ago - seems they were doing some weird reporting things (I believe not counting anyone who died from COVID not in a hospital) so their numbers have been doing all sorts of fucked up things the past few days.
 
Iceland has a very small population. When Winnipeg has twice the population of the entire country you know it is small.
 
Ontario released that chart a few days ago showing our projected path wrt ICU usage. I read it was to be updated daily, anyone know where it is?

Yeah random testing is the only way to get real numbers.
 
Anyone else get the feeling that allowing COVID 19 patients in the highly enclosed USS Comfort is a bad idea? This stuff is so contagious.
 
It sounds like from what the Gov was saying that they had so many COVID patients and so few non-COVID patients that it was no longer practical to make Comfort a non-COVID facility.
 
Did they not switch it over to entirely COVID patients now? That was my understanding. It was sitting there nearly empty.

The study, which will involve 1,000 patients from across the country, will include at least 40 Canadian hospitals, and is being overseen by doctors from the University of Montreal, University of Ottawa, University of Toronto, McMaster and the University of British Columbia, among other schools.

This kind of seems like our best hope, although I'm pretty much grasping on to any potential treatments right now. But if we get a summer lull, then something like this is determined to be effective by the time the next wave roles around, we might not have to shut everything down again. Standard protocol would basically be you get so much as a sniffle, you go in for a test (which we should also have built capacity for by then). If you're positive, you get plasma and quarantine.

I'm sure that's a pipe dream, probably difficult to scale something like that up so quickly, but I can dream.
 
Appears libertymavenstock is a regular poster on a website called "thedonald.win" where he regularly refers to the virus as "PoohFlu" or "WuFlu" and claims it is a bioweapon engineered by the Chinese.
 
Speaking of plants.. Did teeds get banned or did he OD on nano colloidal silver? Guy was posting every day for months and suddenly disappeared.

He was last seen talking about buying the cure for coronavirus on Amazon. So my guess is he's probably on a plane right now getting ready for Trump's next press conference.
