Rewatched And the Band Played On last night...the differences between the responses to Covid and AIDS is staggering.
 
Fuck...LA just extends stay at home order till May 15 and requires masks in public at all times.

I may not survive this. I seriously have zero focus for work, and very little of it to do anyway since everything is dead right now. And just stuck indoors as a single guy really sucks. I'm sure it sucks less than being stuck with a spouse you don't like, or kids who aren't easy to handle, but man this ain't much better.

I wasn't saying it from that standpoint. I meant, most of my friends have their little kids at home and are spending time with them, interacting, and so on, even though for sure it's a drain and they're struggling in a different way. But definitely would prefer that than this. And if I thought I was late finding a wife and having kids, wait till I finally realize that dating is effectively over for the next several months at least, and that timetable is being pushed even further back.
 
Craft beer nerds. I'm running low on beer. I don't have much beer but once in awhile a nice crisp beverage is needed and with summer coming it'll be even more required.


So craft beer nerds. Many of them deliver to my neck of the woods and this is what I want in my life. Do any of you have recommendations? I find beer is very much a personal acquired taste kind of thing with a lot of them but I'm sure you guys have some very strong opinions on them as fucking usual. Let's hear them.
