OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

I feel like most 'decent' teams the Bills put together start to fade by week 5 anyways.

This is coming from a falcons fan, so judge accordingly.

Oh I wear the scars of being a Bills fan. Can’t bring myself to cheer for another team.

I keep the spines when I do whole chickens so I made my own broth. I've got no issues with that. The soup just lacked depth. All of the sweating of the vegetables, browning of the meat, building the layers just fell flat.

I used this recipe as a guide but used a completely different flavor profile: https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes...entils-with-sausage-and-dandelion-greens.html

But I don't really follow recipes.. Which, for soups I don't exactly have that instinct required to make it work without following religiously. ****, I don't even follow recipes when I bake bread; I just know how the dough is supposed to feel. Anyway the point is... I fucked up and I think a lot of it had to do with ratios of ingredients. Too heavy on the broth and not heavy enough on the aromatics.
Dude, soups are like one of the only things that I can nail. Almost certainly you under seasoned as you said, with your aromatics. Also, if you want quicker flavour use fresh herbs in there. Dry herbs take a long ass time to develop in a soup(probably most of a day simmering). I usually find the flavour keeps building even in the fridge afterwards.

Yup.

two words:

Bouquet & garni

If you're using delicate herbs (sage, parsley, etc) dunk the bundle near the end (30 minutes from done), if you're using tough stuff (rosemary, thyme, etc) early on is fine.

Good post , all they are trying to do is stop the hospitals from busting at the seams in the ICU

Drugs are needed to be given to hopefully slow the spread of the death cycle and keep people living longer without hospital visits

Testing facilities will be need to be ramped up in the future for the next one

Simply put government bureaucratic bullshit and rhetoric needs to be put aside and parameters need to be put in place with higher health authorities to swiftly start dealing with the next crisis well before its goes ape shit

Warehouses need to be fully stocked now with necessary supplies of beds , ventilators , etc.....

This is utterly embarrassing how we are scrambling for masks 16 years after SARS

it is the people on the other fairway that need to worry
I once got hit with the ball in the leg standing a good 20 feet behind a guy teeing off. He somehow hit the marker designating the whites and the ball shot straight back and got me in the leg. Man that stung.

Thats a skill to do that from a tee block
