Trump administration re-approves twice-banned pesticide

US President Donald Trump's administration on Friday re-approved the use of pesticide dicamba for spraying on top of genetically modified cotton and soybean crops, drawing swift backlash from environmental groups and the Make America Healthy Again movement.

I've picked oranges and grapes, which probably enforces my near maniacal obsession with the quality of the produce I select and consume, but man! The cats that harvest greens and ground level products like strawberries, etc., have my undying respect and appreciation. Harvesting broccolini would kill me.

When you eat broccolini, remember the farmworkers who harvest it for you

Fresh produce is a great benefit of living in the Bay Area—but the workers in the fields are the ones who make it happen

I spent a few summers picking raspberries but when offered the chance to pick strawberries it was a big no thanks.

Trader Joe’s products included in huge nationwide recall impacting more than 36 million pounds of food (👀)

I almost always stay the hell away from pre-packaged foods, but one that I thought was a winner found its way into my freezer. Guess I'll be making my fried rice combos from scratch from now on.

Serious question...why would anyone use a pre made fried rice in a bag?

It's maybe the easiest throw together dish in the world. The hardest part is owning a 20 dollar rice cooker and keeping 1-2 day old rice in the fridge. After that it's all technique, a few pantry items and then whatever is in the fridge.

The shu mai, I get. Dumplings are a pain in the ass to hand make for minimal improvement over a decent store bought bag of frozen dumplings....but fried rice? Nah.
