OT: MLB Thread

Dawson only got in because according to some here there is no such thing as "clutch". If there were it might explain why in big games Dawson was always an easy out. Rusty Staub should be there. And I think Pedro should be there instead of the mute.

I remember hearing the stories of how Dick Allen hit opposite field homers into the pool during BP. He even smacked them hitting LH, though he was not a switch-hitter in the majors. Pre-dates "McCovey Cove". maybe "Allen's Agua". :sarcasm

Vlad Guerrerro Jr. not lacking in confidence. Skill compared to Sr? "The same or better". Time frame to reach #BlueJays ? "Two years".

TSN1040 did a poll question on this today and most people say they prefer the Mariners over the Jays but ultimately no one here cares about either team.

There must have been 10,000 Blue Jay jerseys in the stands tonight. Maybe the following is small, but its a rabid one.

When I went to see the Expos play in Seattle in 2003 there were plenty of Expos jerseys in the crowd, even though it was a mid-week game. One couple I met had driven all the way from Kelowna to see them play.
