Who's the NHL GM who said that "There are players who help get you to the playoffs and then there are players help you win in the Playoffs?"

That's a lot of dough for a guy who fits into the former category way more than the latter one.

You have to get to the playoffs first. Watch how the Red Sox make the playoffs next year and Price pitches them to the world series. The guy has been dominant every year. Without Price last year, even the Jays would have been iffy to make the playoffs. He's put up 6+ war the past 2 seasons. It's not often you get to sign a high caliber ace like David Price who is a lefty.

scarier part is that he will make about 19 million more than Bumgarner next season, granted Madison has said he is totally cool with his contract as it is more money than he has ever made

Of course he's cool with it as he will get as much if not more when he becomes a FA and signs with the Dodgers or Angels.

I agree. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY too much for a guy who has NEVER won when it counts.

Soon after he was a World Series MVP.

There is no such thing as clutch.

That actually is intriguing when you think about it. It's one thing for an independent filmmaker or even a broadcast outlet like ESPN to decide to shoot a doc on the Expos but why would MLB's propaganda channel want to acknowledge a franchise that they helped to kill off unless there's a happy ending around the corner?
