Hate it hate it hate it hate it. Sets back every Italian home cook.
I dont always need heat in my dishes, frankly a creamy havarti and soft Breton finish in my mouth is delightful enough.I’ve had some havarti with decent heat to it. I guess it depends on where you get it? It’s been years to be honest. Nice little cheese shop on the danforth had some fabulous stuff. Their welsh aged cheddar was delish.
If my parents tried they could have make pasta e fagioli taste good. But my dad's Nonna did it a particular way so that was the end of that conversation.shut up and eat your beans
30 years or so of eating the same recipe he was bread to think was amazing. Tough sell to change. If my parents tried they could have make pasta e fagioli taste good. But my dad's Nonna did it a particular way so that was the end of that conversation.

Sometimes you perfectIt's basically stew
I use a blend of bison, pork and beef. The bison is such a nice addition. Has a hint of sweet and a nice rich finish.BTW, ground wild boar is excellent in a sauce

My standby when I was a poor student and, later, a poor wage slave trying unsuccessfully to keep up with the cost of living in downtown Vancouver, was breaded chicken cutlets (the mystery meat pressed into a form) with a side of Rice-A-Roni and some plum sauce. When I was in uni I would mix a box of KD with 1lb+ ground beef and smother that shit with ketchup. Glory days.
A series that only lasted one season despite solid TV ratings as the lead actor "Dean Wormer"went to "Hollywood" for the big money:
Filmed mostly in Toronto it was a series that later redone by "Hollywood" in the form of the successful long running TV series "Quincy, M.E." with Oscar Madisonin the lead role.
My bad. There were only like some 20 odd episodes so I mistakenly thought it was only one season. Likely a reason why Vernon left the show I guess (not enough work).Wojeck lasted 2 or 3 seasons and was originally filmed in black and white. It wasn't merely filmed in Toronto but set in Toronto. I'm always taken by what a small, un-cosmopolitan town it was back in those days when I see those episodes.
Red Fox.Welsh is interesting. Never had it. Love nothing British aged heavily. Basically I want my cheese to be Helen Mirren and I'd fuck either
