OT: Movies/TV Shows

HOD 2 was good. Slow build up, but interesting. Biggest shock last week and biggest disappointment was no opening theme sequence at all. Biggest shock this week was suddenly an opening theme, but the same song as GOT?? Wtf guys, we deserved a new awesome song.
 
Not sure if I'm 100% sold yet.. but I do think the lack of an opening sequence in ep 1 was in some part a way to draw skeptical viewers back in.
 
The composer of the original Ramin Djawadi is kind of a genius.

Even if it wouldn't have been as good, it would've been good and earned extra marks for being original.

And if they were going to recycle the original, couldn't they have come up with some cool variation of it, maybe to make it sound more ancient/creaky, something? It feels too lazy and cheap to have just reused the first one. Weird too that if they were going to do that, they didn't do it in the first episode, unless the animated sequence wasn't ready yet.

Meh.
 
These were my shows before they were your shows. If the site went far back enough, you'd see a post by me with a link to an article saying HBO was going to spend $50M on the first season of a show called GOT. Get off my property, punk.
 
It betterrrrrrrrr even if I don't remember much of it anymore.

Here and there I see a clip or two like recently with the Hank in the desert one or the final sequence in the finale, and I'm riveted like it's the first time I saw it. If I had nothing to do, I'd watch that one over again. So good.
 
I will do you the courtesy of not watching your overrated show and making you feel feel bad then.
