OT: Movies/TV Shows

Sorry, but her being dead is a good thing. She was a POS human being who supported a would-be fascist dictator and who was also a member of a dangerous religious cult that also destroys people's lives. The world is better off without her (and, for that matter, Veronica's Closet)

Sheesh. If she was good enough for Ted Danson and Kelsey Grammer to eulogize over social, she should be good enough for WeHave to tone down the harsh rhetoric. Also, don't pretend you don't like Top Gun and Pulp Fiction.

I mean, she does have kids. People are kinda gushing over her, it's not like the general consensus has been good riddance. So, she doesn't share your politics.

In spite of what her political and religious views became, she was a very talented actor/entertainer in her younger days and I was definitely a fan back then.

Kirstie wasn't in either of those movies. I saw Top Gun in 1986 and at the time was unaware of Cruise's lunacy, which was only revealed later in his life.. I also enjoyed him in Risky Business, All the Right Moves, Magnolia, Collateral, A Few Good Men and his hilarious cameo in Tropic Thunder. But if he died tomorrow it would be no big deal, considering he is implicated in many of the COS worst abuses.

Who was in Pulp Fiction that I need to cancel? Oh right. Travolta. I liked Pulp Fiction in spite of him. Sam Jackson, Harvey Keitel, Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames and that Chris Walken cameo made the film what it is.

She was funny, she had spunk. I saw an interview of her and Travolta on Carson yesterday. Clear she was a fun person.
She also got a ton of shit and was made fun-of for her weight non-stop and some pretty cruel stuff about struggling to have a baby when she had a miscarriage. She was talented. Made Cheers much better.
