I disagree. My wife is 2 DAYS older than I am. My first wife was 8.5 years younger than me. I'm far happier now than I ever was with wife #1.

I did say "generally" to specifically allow for the possibility that WeHave is an exception. But otherwise, nobody else has ever had more happiness with an older woman, especially one that's 2 DAYS older!

Also, second marriages are in their own category.

Quite the generalization. There’s some that you can’t talk to and many you can (or at least should be able to). No different than same age or older.

But I find there’s an energy and a vibrance in younger girls. I have had many painful dates with girls that had crossed early 30s, and they were commonly jaded, down, too serious from the start, not exactly fun. Gotta find one before the rigors of dating break them down.

If you're just looking to casually date and bone... I guess it's working fine for you. We were talking about a marriage though.

Obviously any combination can work... but if you're looking for a relationship, maybe don't make them being a decade younger a top priority.

I never said anything about 23-25. I mentioned 27-34. And there are plenty of useless, no personality, ignorant morons at 32, and lots of informed, intelligent, and engaging girls at 25. Just because they're older, doesn't necessarily mean anything. It all depends on the person.

And no, jaded has nothing to do with detecting bullshit. It has to do with a girl starting to get past her prime, getting down because her friends are slowly marrying off, having dated a lot with no luck and being sick of the process, wanting to just skip to Mr. Right and the wedding day, and being off in her dating approach as a result.

If you want to have some kids, it isn't really an option unfortunately. There are lots of great 38 year olds looking for guys but there are also lots of 38 year olds who found guys and are mired in the IVF process and having a terrible time trying to conceive. I have a few friends in this boat. Kind of a nightmare.
