So you're shocked what's right for you isn't for him or vice versa? Roll with it. I think you have some horrendous takes but hell your stamina to try to change people's minds or defend a choice is impressive.Jesus, not liking a particular actor's work warrants this level of outright attack?
I mean, it's tied to the person. Sandler is silly and jokey, and I like Sandler the person. Carrey is over the top and obnoxious, and I don't really like the vibe he gives off in general as a person.#TeamLOF
Not loving Jim's wacky humor ain't the craziest thing. It is a bit weird that he loves Sandler humor in Billy Madison tho. But that's just the lof wildcard gene. You have to just roll with it. It's electric entertainment.
What exactly are you talking about? I didn't attack or insult anyone's taste. I just stated my own taste and defended it when asked about it.So you're shocked what's right for you isn't for him or vice versa? Roll with it. I think you have some horrendous takes but hell your stamina to try to change people's minds or defend a choice is impressive.
It's fun dude but people really don't care.
That's because he's uncomfortable in his own skin. That's where the comedy comes from.I mean, it's tied to the person. Sandler is silly and jokey, and I like Sandler the person. Carrey is over the top and obnoxious, and I don't really like the vibe he gives off in general as a person.
I guess that would be your opinion. I say you're allowed to have it, but others may disagree from time to time, depending on whether your opinion tracks with theirs.carrey is still a million times funnier than sandler though
It's because he's creepy and comes off as a manic depressive, and so when he's bouncing off the walls for laughs, it feels like an overly desperate bid for attention, which I find unsettling more than humorous. That's because he's uncomfortable in his own skin. That's where the comedy comes from.
I like Ace Ventura, but the scene in the sequel made me laughed so hard when he comes out of the Elephant.Yeah for me it's because there are so many factors that go into how much you enjoy a comedy. From your mood that day to how old you were when you saw it.
There's no doubt that The most and hardest I ever laughed at a movie was Ace Ventura. I saw it in the theater when it came out and had zero expectations because I hadn't even heard of it... I was 19 years old. It was the perfect storm.
Now it's obviously an all-time classic... change the circumstances not bad and I'm sure I don't almost die laughing.
That scene was admittedly hilarious.I like Ace Ventura, but the scene in the sequel made me laughed so hard when he comes out of the Elephant.
PerfectWe've officially entered one of those periods where what you're posting isn't making any sense anymore. I'll just skip to the part where you say it's Friday and you're drinking, and just disengage right here.
