OT: Movies/TV Shows

Anyone see Maestro yet? Not the Seinfeld guy (Although what a movie that would be!). Whew knew Leonard Berstein loved cock so much?

I couldn’t think of a rom com with him in it. I hated the trailer for that one so I never saw it. He’s kinda canceled at the moment here anyway because of that ex gf grooming stuff. Not to mention he looks like a fucking corpse with tattoos.

The guy’s bread and butter was being fat and funny in comedies. And then he stopped eating bread and butter. He’s done for now.

I got very stoned while very very sick and watched the new Indiana Jones, and was thoroughly enjoying it, until I got so bored I couldn’t fathom possibly finishing it.

I was disappointed by it overall. I enjoyed the 2nd viewing better than opening night at the theater. Being "Better" than the last one (It is) is still not a compliment. It still is disappointing.
The script/stories of the last 2 have been weak and the action sequences just terrible.

….and way too many action scenes imo, all just a blur of CGI.

I get they need action, but I think they overlook just how much people would have loved seeing a more detective archeologist Indy, having to be stealth sneaking around, solving puzzles, discovering clues, conning people, etc….we’d eat it up……with half the amount of CGI action stuff. /my 2 cents.

All the bad guys were great tho….

That's the issue with most action scenes. You don't know what's going-on between the quick-cuts and fake CGI.
That's why Fury Road was so amazing.

That truck/ark chase in raiders is off-the-charts. Same with the last 10 minutes of TOD.
