Seeing as this is a Movies/TV shows thread, reading this post somehow reminds me of....
a great 'classic' horror film "Black Christmas" (filmed in/around Toronto) where it had this funny scene (I couldn't find a movie clip) involving Margot Kidder:

Yeah, Shrinking is really good. They've hit their stride this season now that the characters' personalities have all developed.

Ted McGliney i havent seen in anything in eons, the cast is very strong even if its mostly them just being really good at what they normally do

Jude Law is very underrated. He does a ton of great stuff. And he' s not one of those actors who is insecure and got a hair transplant.

I think it’s allowed them to be a bit more lighthearted, like eps iv and vi. Also using the droid for comic relief like GL.

i wouldn't oof that at all tbh. looks like it might be a potentially refreshing take.
otoh, if they try too hard to be the anti-dour-dcu it might go too far to the bright and shiny and optimistic cartoony side so we'll see.
and she's not conventionally superhot but man brosnahan has something.

Might be, but there's some real acting talent on display there. And it looks like a bunch of characters who we haven't seen in a long while if ever. And clearly trying to stand out visually from recent dcu fare. Lots of potential for something interesting i think.
I don't know that the movie will be good but this trailer was pretty decent imo.
