OT: NFL thread

Manning's receivers nearly lost it for him today. If they give the Patriots that much of an opportunity they won't make it out of that game alive. It's going to be a New England-Carolina Super Bowl XXXVIII rematch.

Maybe Rihanna will have a wardrobe malfunction like Janet Jackson did in 2004.

We're on to Denver.

Nothing for nothing...but a healthy Steelers team would make it out of the AFC....yes, they would beat a healthy Pats team me thinks.

Panthers are legit...seriously, I don't see how they lose to Cards.

I'd like Manning to make SB, but Pats always seem to find a way....

Congrats Lecoq by the way....your Pats are always at the dance

Against KC Brady's average pass time targeting Edelman: 1.94 seconds. On the 10 completions it was 1.57 seconds. The OL must have been relieved.

The Patriots will go in as favourites with the (much) healthier roster. But... any given Sunday. Ya never know.

I remember ESPN saying last year that we wouldn't see Manning-Brady again.

what a turn of events....from Manning's point of view

The thing with me is that while I like NFL football I'm only really passionate about one thing: seeing the Cowboys fail. I have teams that I like but my favourite team is whichever one is handing the Cowboys their own ass. "My" Packers, Steelers and Seahawks all lost but I'm not losing sleep over it. As long as Dallas doesn't win I'm good. I spend more time agonizing over the Alouettes when they blow it in the Grey Cup than about the Seahawks getting intercepted on the one yard line last year.
