OT: NFL thread

Hey, look at that, Andrew Luck with another bad interception.

Who would have ever seen that coming?

Andrew "Surefire 1st Ballot Hall of Fame Player" Luck was so pathetic today. Didn't reach a hundred yards passing until early in the fourth quarter and because Denver started playing prevent defense, we was able to accumulate close to 200 by the end of the game. But as is often the case with him, two turnovers killed any chance his team had of winning because Denver gave them so many free yards because of their undisciplined play.

Elite quarterback my ass.

He's pretty much the only thing the Colts have. The lack of an offensive line... really are weak in terms of receivers... running backs who are ancient.

Put him on a team with talent and he'd be amazing.

Agreed he was running away from pressure all night . Their defence is atrocious and they never addressed it at the draft , they keep drafting receivers when they need pass rushers , and linebackers.

When you lack an O line and your team D stinks your finished.

Look at Denver you can get away with a mediocre starter when you have the best D in the game .

Why do I get the suspicion that New England's third string QB will do just as well as Garoppolo? Not to take anything away from Brady but that system the Hoodie has going is so good it's virtually "plug and play". How else could a team with a receiving corps so average sized, average talented and so...white, be that successful otherwise?

Aaron Rodgers earns lowest game grade of career

Not much can describe Aaron Rodgers’ performance other than it being one of—if not the—worst outing of his career. At halftime, Rodgers had just 13 of his 59 passing yards come through the air. He finished the game having completed just 4-of-14 passes targeted 10+ yards downfield. On passes where the ball was out by 2.5 seconds, he completed 18-of-27 passes with an NFL QB rating of 93.8. On dropbacks that lasted more than 2.5 seconds, he completed just two-of-nine attempts on 17 dropbacks, and had a passer rating of 12.0. Most uncharacteristic of Rodgers, though, were his turnover-worthy plays. He fumbled three times, two of which the offense was lucky to recover, threw a slant pass straight to Terence Newman in the red zone (only to have the interception dropped), and then tossed the pick to Trae Waynes in the final two minutes.

He gets the players that fit his system.

Wehave has a point though, it is illogical to have small white guys like Amendola and Edelman look as good as they do. Amendola was a failure everywhere else. Same as Wes Welker.

Darth Belichick has turned the team into a cult. I'm not sure why any other team ever says a word about them, because if you say anything, that team circles the wagons and before you know it, goes 15-1. Granted, if not for Wilson's bonehead throw, they would be 0 for the last 12 years in SBs despite all the regular season success. That win vaulted Darth Belichick to the top in my view.
