OT: NFL Thread

If Hoodie had any draft chops, he wouldn't be working during live streams

For sure. But his ranking wasn’t far off other lists. Anyway, if he was still in the game, he would have traded down and drafted a punter from Rutgers.

and the media would have jizzed at his brilliance

The media are access seeking lapdogs. That’s why analytics types are viewed with suspicion, they can generate content without actually talking to anyone.

Anyway, I can assure you the fan base was tired of Hoodie’s purported 5 dimensional chess awhile ago. The train wreck was not unexpected.

nah we do well drafting OL in 1st round, 6'8 behemoths don't grow on trees. We needed OT as well.
That is true, but I don't like drafting projects in the first round of the NFL.

If he fixes his issues and keeps improving, yeah, he might be awesome. But like Jonas says, there's a good chance he busts.

I am happy we traded down, though.

I feel the same way about Chop Robinson

I get Miami needed edge, but he's a bit too much on the toolsy/project side for my liking. Miami needs to get actual snaps out of these draft picks, getting nothing out of Cam Smith last year was terrible. The lack of sacks concerns me as well no matter how much burst/pressures there are.

I dont hate the pick but i dont love it
Also, lol Bills for trading down for nothing twice to give Mahomes Worthy, and then pass on Legette.

They are probably going to draft Adonai Mitchell and his no YAC

I think of Tyler Smith, was a project and has started every game

Sure, but the situation's a little different. He was a tackle in college and he was drafted to be a guard. He ended up playing a year as tackle while he was a rookie because Tyron Smith got injured and didn't do too bad. But his talents were best suited as a guard.

But regardless, I'll be rooting for him.

Philly made another pick that I really like for them.

They took That White Cornerback.

Lane Johnson loves Guyton and thinks he will be similar. Means Guyton can false start every play and not get called ;)
