OT: NFL Thread

Yup. I love all of Philly's picks for them.

Don't like Cowboys' first round pick, but I like the other two much more.

I'd like them to trade down from their second 3rd to accumulate an extra pick in the fourth, but I can't complain if they make the pick.
 
Nothing beautiful about it. They didn't score an offensive TD. That's bad football on the Titans part.

I have Sunday Ticket and spent the day flipping between games and what struck me is how ponderously slow the pace of play is. The game is designed to accommodate TV commercials. There's no flow. Too many time outs for nothing. Does a team need 3 time outs per half just so they can waste them on 4th down plays where everyone knows they're never going to snap the ball or to ice an opposing kicker? I can't sit through it.

Nothing beautiful about a blocked punt TD? Nothing beautiful about a pick 6? Nothing beautiful about winning?

The offense wasn't beautiful, but that defense was beautiful, and that comeback was beautiful, and winning is always beautiful.

How about your first overall QB and his 55.7 pass rating? Was that beautiful too? What the Bears did was what the Habs did all the time when Price would bail them out. Any win was an accidental, pathetic success.

Are you really that stupid? I said the offense wasn't beautiful.

So wins now only count when every part of the team performs great?

They should just get rid of kickoffs completely unless a team attempts an inside kick, since they've pretty much removed all importance of it already.
