OT: Politics & News... Have at it.

I doubt that one person can be responsible, on his own, for causing two recessions.

well Harper claims he is the reason Canada is doing well economically. If he is the reason we are doing "well", then would he not also be the reason we are in recession?

When you pin your entire economy on $100.00 oil, and oil drops, it is basically your fault n'est ce pas?

your boy is pinning his economy on heaps of borrowing well into the future based on historically low interest rates today.

this will fail

bull$hit

answer the question, since the economic policies of the two are similar.

name the last time on here I brought up Obama? Look through the thread, 3/4 of the posts about him, I am sure, are started by you.

I know this much, under him, the US economy is doing better than the Canadian one is under your guy.

still won't answer the question despite similar economic policies.

I guess it's checkmate time unless you can wriggle out of it with smoke.

10 billion deficit for three years in a trillion dollar economy is nothing, you know it and I know it. Irony is that Harper has run six or seven deficits in his years in power yet when Trudeau says he will while building roads, transit etc, Harper soils himself.

Even a Harperite like you must have laughed when Harper, desperate to retain power, took out ads saying the election was not about him. When was the last time an election was not about the leader?

Not at all, this is about our election, not Obama's. Not my fault your Gop ran out Palin, McCain the first time and then Romney the second time and couldn't beat Obama. Obama biggest fault was over promising. However, he has created a ton of new jobs and the economy has improved has it not? You obviously know about American policy than I do.

Obama doubled the debt, people make less money now than when Bozo took office, the wage gap increased under his watch-the rich are richer, more blacks are unemployed now than when he took office, the job participation rate is at a historic low thanks to a method calculating the unemployed where you are no longer considered unemployed after 5 years of fruitless hunting. And where are the mega jobs promised in the alternative energy field?

this economic recovery of the US with it's 2.4% GDP growth rate, is the slowest since ww2.....similar criticism of Harper's regime actually...one that hyporcriticals like to pounce on.

Justin has a similar formula...but....may well be saved if oil prices recover as they eventually should.

Mine is rhetorical, need not be answered, the question speaks for itself.

Why it's working for Ontario? Wait. No they had their credit downgraded and are piling up mountains of debt. I would be more worried about the implications of what a carbon tax will have on many consumer goods, it's just a tax grab. Our biggest trading partner also happens to be the US, and you know if Trudeau becomes PM there will be a bunch of companies pressured to not do business with a country who has a PM whose brother came out with an anti-us documentary.

Oh please. He is not his brother's keeper. In any event, we do business with a GOP Congress that wants to build a wall on the northern wall.
