her numbers have strengthened against her main Dem rival to this point, Bernie Sanders. She's still a strong number one for the Dem nomination. Where she is more noticeably weaker, is on the national front, because of poor non party affiliation support. But make no mistake, it's still a horse race between her and any GOP contender.....despite her, ahem, checkered past.
Oh yeah, Hillary is still top dog on the Democratic side but more and more people are being disenchanted with her. Not sure how it reflects on the polls but that's the word on the street anyway.

I think that part is over with now though. The fact that the GOP admitted they were investigating her simply to knock down her numbers and that Hilary has no immediate opposition in her party has seen her numbers rebound. Democrats are all in now with Hilary, good or bad.
Her chances at winning the WH depend on who the GOP elect as their leader. I think she beats most of them unless a guy like Kasich gets through and his straight as an arrow approach wins over voters who distrust Clinton.
I really can't stand Rubio but he has been my bet to win the GOP nominee spot for a few weeks now. I thought he man-handled Bush at the last debate and he has kept quiet enough not to really spur on a Trump attack. However he just makes me laugh as he is always on the wrong side of the fence on issues. When the GOP were shocked with Obama's re-election in 2012 they went on a self-discovery mission of what happened and clearly they lost the hispanic vote so there was Rubio, the darling center of the GOP's hispanic support who attempted to make an Immigration Bill for the party only for the party to turn around a few months later and say they no longer wanted it so he had to scrap it. Then he voiced opposition to the renewal of ties with Cuba when most in the country supported it. The guy should probably run as a Democrat and be done with it.
I think Carson's days are over. The fact that he cannot believe the media is investigating every little tidbit he says about his past is just dumb. He may have a point that the media are over-playing this but this is what they do to every candidate especially to ones that most in the country never heard of before this election cycle began. Seriously I am no expert on US politics but I hadn't heard of the guy before I heard he was running for President. I know people gave Obama heck for not doing much time in Gov't before he entered the race but to jump from being a Doctor to running the country is something that is going to have people asking questions about... who is this guy?
I was watching Mornijng Joe earlier today and Joe Scarborough, the former GOP Representative just skewered Carson about lying in his book. I mean Joe just went on a rant like I haven't seen in a while. Clearly the MSNBC morning crew have their favorites and with Joe that would be established guys like Christie and Rubio while Mika, a democrat for sure, seems to like Sanders over Clinton but Scarborough obviously is not impressed with the front runner right now.
Cruz is just an idiot.
I don't know what to think of Trump. I wouldn't mind him being President for like 6 months to see what he can do, I mean it would be hilarious to see him in trade talks with China. On way hand you could see him be very tough and successful arguing a better deal than Obama ever could but on the other hand you could see China walking a way from his ego and a disaster hit the american working people. I also don't know how he brings back jobs when rich people have been benefitting for decades now when big US companies like Nike send all the jobs over to the likes of Bangladesh where kids make the stuff far cheaper than any American could. The only people who win on this are the the Nike management board and the shareholders. The fact that he can't explain how he will pay for everything being better under him is starting to catch up with him also. Plus I don't think he wants the job for 4 years let alone two terms. I think he believes he could do President stuff in the mornings, Trump Business in the afternoons and still fly to Scotland and all over the world visiting his golf courses and hotels throughout the week. He sure would be good at firing people who can't handle their position under him though... but even that you wonder if the American people would get tired of.
At this point whoever wins the WH job is likely backing in.
I know Rubio is one of your fave's but for me he is constantly put down in his own party and won't stand up for himself. His Immigration Bill outcome was a slap in the face to him by the RNC when he was asked to work on the bill but then he was politically forced into blocking its passage when the RNC decided they didn't want anything to do with a pathway to legal citizenship. Also everything with him is so serious. The Cuba thing is a catastrophe to him, Obamacare... catastrophe, the Easter egg hunt at the WH... catastrophe. He has a good story to sell with his upbringing but I find he tries too hard to fit in with the GOP agenda. They need him more than he needs them IMO due to his hispanic roots but he basically tows the party line which is why many GOP voters like him but don't consider him in the front pack of any leadership debate. Why can't you stand Rubio, and why do you think Cruz is an idiot? He was a brilliant law student at Harvard, and Texas Solicitor General at a very young age. I don't think I'd vote for him but not due his brain, which is clearly very potent.
The fact he says someone who doesnt pray daily isn't fit to be President is reaon enough not to vote for him.Why can't you stand Rubio, and why do you think Cruz is an idiot? Former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) calls in an interview for converting as many people as possible to Christianity because Jesus is “coming soon.”
“We recognize the shortness of the hour,” Bachmann says. “And that’s why we as a remnant want to be faithful in these days and do what it is that the Holy Spirit is speaking to each one of us, to be faithful in the Kingdom and to help bring in as many as we can — even among the Jews — share Jesus Christ with everyone that we possibly can because, again, he’s coming soon.”
Ben Carson is a neurosurgeon and he's also nuttier than a jar of Planter's. The only thing missing on him is a top hat and monocle. Why can't you stand Rubio, and why do you think Cruz is an idiot?
