OT: Post Corona - What Will Change?

I also want to add that the “wet” markets in China, which caused this whole virus, are starting to reopen again. But its ok because they just classified dogs as a none eatable species.

Fuck these people! The world needs to just do a No China policy. Cut them off.

I do think the big thing that will come out of this is a scale back on Globalization. Businesses will have to slowly retreat home over time.

People Are not going to be able to travel as freely and as unregulated as before.

Also did I mention fuck China! They and their Government are a clear danger to the world. And not through militarily might.

Bill Maher’s Friday New Rules is spot on about these pricks.

The consumer is the only one who makes that decision though. Keep buying from Walmart with no pressure put on them to source anything but cheap chinese product and this is what it is.

Until the vaccine, yeah.

What if the vaccine is only as effective as the yearly influenza shot?

Ah this guy is pulling the Altair. "I say stupid shit and everyone rightfully attacks me so I'm going to whine that everyone on forumice is smarter than me and effortlessly picks away at my dumbass posts." Poor wittle baby can't get away with being stupid on a grown up forum.

Your reading comprehension is beyond pathetic. Did you actually finish high scholol?

I'm at least passing on what more qualified professionals have said on the topic. What's your source? Your "eye test"?

That's difference number 1 between our takes.

The other difference is that I'm actually not sure why Biden slips up, whereas you have confidently pronounced him senile on more than one occasion. Therefore, the onus is on you to prove it. I'm just offering reasonable doubt.

From a non-Trumpian:

This “Biden has dementia” stuff is reminding me a lot of all the “Hillary has cancer” stuff that started circulating before the last election.

It’s also beyond hilarious that anyone would try to make mental fitness for the job a strike against the Democratic nominee when the guy on the other side of that is Donald Trump.

Add "Obama isn't American" to this as well.

Remember, krutschev told us the dems could not nominate bernie because it would alienate conservatives like him.

Now, shocker of shockers, he will use....wait for it....SENILITY... as a reason to vote FOR .....TRUMP.
Except Krusty has said he likely isn't voting.
It’s worse. She might have been beyond corrupt but at least not senile. Both would harm the economy greatly. Unfortunately Trump has shown he’s in way over his head here, as predicted. I reluctantly voted for her last time but I’ll probably just sit this upcoming one out.

sure, but my point is that the basic flu shot is only about 35% effective in any given year
I'm sure 2005 could explain better but part of the reason the flu shot isn't perfectly effective is that there are multiple strains of the "flu" circulating every year. There's only one Covid-19; any potential vaccine will specifically target it. 100% effectiveness is probably unreasonable like with any vaccine, but a good vaccine should do the trick as long as everyone gets the shot. I'm not really worried about a 35% effective vaccine; that would be a tremendous failure and extremely unlikely. I'm more worried about it taking potentially a lot longer than 2 years for the vaccine to become available. The timelines being circulated seem a bit unreasonable to me but hopefully I'm wrong.

Isnt Covid simply an an extended strain of the swine flu of 2009 that infected a ton of people
