Shaff finally finishes one of canada's many golden chances in the first 17 minutes.

1-0 for canada over usa but it could easily be 3 or 4 nothing already.
 
american commentators getting frustrated.

telling the us players to get in there and muck it up let them know you;'re there. old time.
 
usa finally gets some pressure to start the 2nd but david pounces on the turnover and a nice 1-2 with larin and david roofs it for 2-0.

Finally watched the CMNT game.

Not sure what to make if it. USMMT was MIA. Pochettino has some work to do.

That said, our guys looked well-organized, and committed. Good stuff.

i don't know that they have a goal in them tonight but i gotta say it still feels good that all of a sudden we can handle mexico without any problem even while shorthanded and not exacgtly going all out.
 
Mexico played a cagey, cautious game because they know they can’t deal with our athleticism. What a sea change from 10 years ago.

We just need to avoid brain cramps and weird execution errors. Otherwise, they can’t hurt us.

I don’t much like Millar.

Big fan of Ali Ahmed. Great speed, skill and a healthy f@ck you attitude.
 
I like Millar fine but as a bench guy only.

But yeah Ahmed is gonna make it hard for Tajon to waltz back in the lineup.
