Yeah, the series gets weirder, denser and more esoteric the farther you get into it. Though I still loved it all, since when I really get into a great author’s fictional universe, I tend to devour every scrap of content I can get my hands on.
Pretty happy to hear this, cause I would like to plow through it all so long as a certain level of quality is maintained
And if you do get to the end, you also have to prepare yourself for the fact that it ends on a mysterious and confusing cliffhanger that’ll never be resolved, since Frank Herbert unfortunately died before he could finish the series.
Ending with some ambiguity is often the best resolution to an art piece anyway, tbf.
But the self-contained story in the first three books does at least wrap up pretty well by the end of book three.
