OT: The News Thread

Quick rundown.

Kate had abdominal surgery.

The press and public were told that she would be recuperating at home until Easter.

The public and press complaining that she has not been seen or heard from.

Finally, William takes a photo and Kate as an amateur photographer decided to try her hand at editing the photo.

At least that was the word on the newscast this morning.
 
Why would anyone bother going to these lengths to prove that Kate is healthy and not still on life support or dead? Who gives a shit? She's a fucking nobody. The entire royal family are nothing but a tourist attraction. Other than that they are, to quote King Charles himself, a carbuncle. An expensive pimple on the ass of society. They serve no useful purpose and absolutely nothing of any importance would change in Britain were that entire family of German immigrants to suddenly disappear from the face of the earth.
 
Personally I do think something is sort of off to this story beyond “a mom got slightly carried away on photoshop”. I think there’s some information being withheld.

Again, who cares? She isn't a head of state, she's a celebrity and not because she's good at acting or singing. She's famous because she married into a famous family that is chiefly famous just for being famous. I don't wish her ill but I couldn't care less if she lives or dies and I'm not sure why anyone else not related to her would care either.
