I will never understand how society has just decided that it's okay to use your car as a weapon.

Seriously, if I ever wanted to kill someone, I'd just run them over in my car, pretend it was road rage, and escape with maybe a small slap on the wrist. the charges in my view come nowhere near to the severity of the act. deliberately running a motorcyclists off a highway with your vehicle at highway speeds is likely to fucking kill them. I don't know how you can do something like that on purpose and be surprised when the person dies. will always be attempted murder to me.
 
So, jokes aside I'm obviously not condoning what that driver did.

But.

In a nation with so many fucking guns, you can't just dismiss some rage nutter as a threat because they're on a bike and when you fly into a rage at someone in public for any reason, you stand a pretty good chance at getting a reaction. Make someone afraid and put them on edge while they're driving a vehicle and you're in the Fuck Around portion of the equation.
