Speaking of. I wonder how a Trae Young deal would work. He’d be a huge add to our core offensively. Defense not so much.
 
He didn't have a bad supporting cast in Atlanta and they're not good. That's instructive when he's allegedly a superstar level player.

You can't win with the guy guarding the point of attack on 60-70% of possessions being one of the worst defensive guards in the league.
 
yeah if we go the one-dimensional star route we'll be stuck in purgatory forever.

we have good players. sign them all and/or trade them for good value.

but don't spend them on guys who can't defend. be patient.
