This was the problem in keeping Trent past the deadline. You have to keep playing him, and if they legit dont know if they want to keep him long term or not then i have issues with this FO.

Already a more versatile player. Shoots it about as well. Rebounds and passes better.

Don't mind the kid not having the pressure of starting right now though, I'm good with him getting ~20mpg down the back half of the season and growing into a reasonable role he can expect to fill next season as well.
 
I wonder if we end up just keeping Brown. He’s pretty much the ideal 6/7man. Seems to be getting comfortable here and putting in a good effort now that the deadline is over. Maybe we decline his deal and give him term.
 
Yeah, I figure we're keeping him until the deadline next year. If we're in a legit playoff chase we keep him. If not, flip him for a 1st
