Which is a problem. RJ has the potential to be a nice player on a winning team. Along the lines of what Pascal was for the 'chip team imo but short of some sort of weird explosion in his handle and shooting I don't see anything more there. Scottie has top 5-10 player in the NBA type potential and our trajectory as a team is dependent on him getting there. He seems content to let everyone else take turns being ball dominant when he should be demanding his and then using the gravity he creates to make everyone else better. I'm hoping another summer of work and some good roster additions will help him take another step next year.

I agree, not a great thing to see everyone give up, but I can sort of understand it.

I don't even want to play in my street hockey league when the teams aren't balanced. Two seasons ago we had a terrible team and were losing every game, not even close, because somehow half the team was absent each game. It was exactly zero fun, stressful even, to have to play and know you're going to lose 8-2 or whatever each time. Funny enough, the whole team was present for the playoffs and we won the chip, but it was 10 games of utter shit in the regular season where we were all miserable.

Yeah something is weird. I don’t know if it’s darko or Scottie. But something needs to be figured out. If it’s darko then let’s not waste time.

6th at worst imo. It's maybe kind of possible that Portland catches us, but they're worse than we are.

Isn't even one imo. 6th would actually be pretty ideal imo, the guy who might turn out to be the best player in the draft is a small quick twitch guard out of Kentucky named Rob Dillingham and is unlikely to go in the top 5. The prospect I like 2nd most outside of the guys kind of baked into the top 3 is another young guard/wing named Ron Holland. Big boom/bust potential on both imo.

The other concern re: Darko is that Quickley has also sucked.

Maybe sucked is a strong word, but he's been terrible defensively and his numbers are up a bit from when he was coming off the bench for the Knicks, but nowhere near what his starter numbers on the Knicks were likely.

Quickley is a weapon when he gets chased off of the line but for some reason his FG% is down significantly at every shooting distance other than 3's since the trade.

His effort is a big freakin issue imo
 
Are they even his friends? We know Fred isn’t a big fan and OG, who is a gamer and loves TO seemed to be in a real hurry to get away.
