Pre-Draft Analysis
Strengths: Mogbo is a late-blooming, undersized big man with a lean frame, long arms and explosive physical tools.Weaknesses: He does not have any floor-spacing ability to speak of at this stage, which puts a lot of pressure on his ability to finish inside against bigger and stronger defenders in the NBA. Plus, his limited experience shows in his inconsistent technique on defense.
The verdict: Mogbo is a junior college product who grew late and garnered little interest out of high school. He has blossomed into a bouncy lob threat, effective slasher and out-of-area rebounder who is one of the best playmaking big men in this draft.
