4 of the top 10 are from your shitty Italian heroes draft. Just imagine how good that draft would look if he didn't turn out to be shit. Fwiw, he's ranked 64th in career VORP among those 3 drafts.

Exactly.

There's lots of things they could have done to immediately create some sort of attachment with the Raptors or with the city. Toronto T-Rex would have fit with the Dinosaur theme if they wanted to go that way. Toronto Towers makes all sorts of sense for a basketball team in the city, and work the CN Tower into the logo. Toronto Tempo feels like they're quietly making fun of the city's continent worst traffic...there is no Tempo in Toronto.
 
Toronto Tempo sounds like the brain child of a focus group company trying to justify their paycheck and choosing something that appeals to and offends no one, and also alliteration.
