Oh settle down. You were hardly the only one impressed with his performance. If SWR keeps this up over a representative sample, feel free to chirp. 28IP isn't representative. It's encouraging, but not representative.

I remember when zeke was in love with standout prospects like Robbie Earl and Jeremy Williams. And of course, we can't forget his long-time affinity for Kyle Wellwood.

I don't think anyone is disputing that what SWR has done so far is impressive. It's just a teensy weensy sample so far.

I find it adorbs that he’s all acting like he discovered this awesome prospect when prospect nerds like myself were quite aware who the guy was prior to the trade and actually highlighted him as the guy to get when the trade broke.

Even "naysayers" like me said nay because I didn't (and still don't) think we got enough in return for Stroman.

And now im telling them about SWR.
 
Man you guys got upset that SWR is really good.

I mean, let's say for the sake of argument his 18yr old season has been moderately less impressive than vladdy's, and better than any other 18yr old season we've seen from a jays prospect in recent memory.....

Vlad Jr. was #20 on BA's list after his 17 year old debut season in rookie ball. He was #10 on BA's mid-season list a few months after he turned 18. High profile international signing, son of a HOF, outstanding debut season at 17. Probably a few people were aware of him.

Only Zeke knew about him. Literally announced as being from "parts unknown" when we signed him like he was fucking Kamala. Zeke knew of him though, and told the world. Now we all know thanks to Zeke and only Zeke. Might still not know who he was if it wasn't for Zeke. Shit, I'm not entirely sure he's real, but Zeke assures me he is. Good enough for me.
