OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

What is this with Islander fan mocking Toronto?

it was a fun 2 years I'm sure guys but you're back to your usual bottomfeeding position. time to shut up.

For a sport with a 162-game season, it's pretty silly to make the first round a best 2 out of 3. I guess it's better than the 1 game playoff it was previously, but really should be 4/7 (or at least 3/5).

One of the wackiest games I've ever seen. Really fucking sucks.

It's the biggest pile of crap ever. Two almost identical records, done after two games. Travesty.

That said, home field "advantage" for both games, a 7 run lead blown today, and little league coaching and plays = deserved fucking loss.

How sad that our teams have turned us into their trolls too.

Really such a pathetic bunch. Never seen so much talent stacked on three franchises at the same time, and none of them can even make a dent in the first round of the playoffs.

It's really a joke. I defriended Frenemy after the last Leafs loss to get a break from him (he still tries to goad me via text here and there, of course), but now I'm almost at the point where I need to go apologize to him and tell him he's been right all along. If the Leafs shit their pants again this year, I think I'll feel obligated to do that.

Brutal play by Bo there. Replays look like Springer might have caught it. You have to know in that situation that the CF is coming straight in hard, even if Springer didn’t call him off, Bo has to have his head up and get out of the way.

I think the replays actually show that Bo had the better chance to catch it, and if he positioned himself better or took a slightly different route he would've had it. There was no way Springer's dive would've gotten him out far enough to reach it.

But even so, Bo MUST yield on that play and let Springer, who has the better view and angle, to either get it or miss it, with Bo there to grab it and throw it back in if Springer missed it. That was the fatal error there.

It looked to me from the replay like Springer committed to dive for it but then saw Bo running at him and so didn’t even extend his glove, just tried to sort of save his own life mid-dive.

Don’t think Springer would have dove if he wasn’t going to get to it. It might have come out of his glove, but then it’s not a base-clearing double.

A tough play and you do see collisions on those balls to no-man’s-land. Just awful luck as Romero just overpowered the previous two batters and then that BS Texas leaguer to change everything.

City is fucken cursed , epic collapse

When are these fucken coaches gonna stop pulling pitchers out of games due to analytics

Gauz wasn’t in trouble to be yanked and Bo fucked up on that 3 run play

Jays make too many defensive blunders

I get it in game #104 of a 162 game season.

In the playoffs though, let your starters carry you as far as they can. Especially if your bullpen is shite and it’s a must-win playoff game.
