Fully agree with this. If he was deciding between LAD and NYY the coverage would be all about how he’s a global brand and so detailed and wise to take his time weighing options.

Oh, I'm sure the reports that Blue Jays have met with him are accurate. Really, even just the fact that Atkins is being so cagey in all of his public comments is proof to me that they have, considering Ohtani's "no leaks or comments to the media" policy.

I just don't believe that Shatkins are capable of closing the deal, or that in the end, this generational superstar baseball free agent will really want to choose to sign in Toronto out of all the other options he has available to him.
 
It’s interesting, but I’m sure the Japanese media doesn’t know anything the American media doesn’t know.

Would be cool if they broke the story though.

i got a feeling we are going to get michael taylor as our OF. Which to me is a please no type. I’m sick of the jays having guys who hit 220/230.

Soto is a soul crusher just because I hate the Yankees more than almost any other sports organization.
