This guy speaks no english the way Ichiro spoke no english. His interpreter is a human shield between him and the media more than anything else. He speaks english but prefers to speak Japanese. But this guy wasn't whispering in his ear in line at the starbucks that the barista wants to know whether he wants that latte hot or cold.
We've seen what Mune was like when speaking english, Shohei has a rhodes scholar level of english compared to Mune.
So if this guy was barely Shohei's interpreter, what did he actually do for Shohei?
