He's doing pretty much everything but getting the ball in the air, and to that i'd offer a combination of "it will come" and " fucking Mattingly"

Regardless, he's not even in the stratosphere of the top 10 problems with this team at the moment and a real FO would be looking to extend him

Yeah, he's still under even the modest pre-season projections. Most had him at 140-145 wRC+, and he's at 136. So slightly down, but not terrible. Bichette and Springer really are the guys dragging the team down, Kirk as well.

The HR are low, and Vlad is running his worst career SLG. Thankfully his BB% and BABIP are career highs.
