OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

Cards are looking to move Nolan Arenado so he could be an option at 3B. Glove used to be elite and probably still pretty good, but the bat has always underperformed the advanced stats and just 16 HR last year so he's definitely on the decline. Could still pop 20-25 though. Steamer has him down for 22 HR and a 106wRC+. Could be an option if they eat a bunch of salary.

Bunch of teams in on Bregman so it would probably take a massive overpay there.
Im not convinced Arenado isnt cooked.

Id rather roll the dice on Polanco ( who was productive save for last year in Seattle) or honestly give it to Clement and reassess with Barger/Orelvis mid year.

Gleyber is the most Shatkins signing i can possibly imagine.

OF is the real hole IMO,

Taylor Ward is better than Santander over the last 2 years and will be cheaper

spend it all on pitching. we have plenty of offensive upside already. would be a waste not to even try to use it.

Ward would be good. Has had injury issues, but when healthy can hit and isn't a dead weight in the field.

Of course we drop the most possible spots and friggin Seattle and St. Louis jump all the way up. Unbelievable. Here comes some mid risk adverse college pitcher. Yayyy. Team sucks

that's a good player. hitting and defense. and young.

and we have lots and lots of expendable assets.

Going for up the middle D. Curious what the return will be. Was 6 war a few years ago, dropped back to being a 3-4 war guy
