Now go and lose Vladdy and Bo
This times a million. I don't know how anyone can blame Jays management for this.Signing with The Dodgers is lowkey pathetic….Shohei fine, but Yamamoto & Roki are clowns for doing so.
KD to the Warriors energy.
Of course you can blame management for … 2 years in a row … putting all of their eggs in the wrong basket. This times a million. I don't know how anyone can blame Jays management for this.
Pathetic clown says all this bullshit about not wanting to go to a big market, not liking massive media coverage, any team can win this!, wants to be his own man and create his own brand, then goes to the superteam everyone said he would go to before he even said any of these lies. Then also waits a couple of times potentially shafting SD and TOR on their IFA signings on top of it. #Loser
I would argue though that Ohtani is the best baseball player on the planet, why not go after him if you've got the money and he takes your call?Of course you can blame management for … 2 years in a row … putting all of their eggs in the wrong basket.
Plan a: sign the best free agent possible
Plan b: complain that a FA didn’t want to sign with you.
We forced the Dodgers to go out and trade for more bonus money!! Congratulations everyone.![]()

Ya I mean the problem isn’t that they went after these guys. It’s that they couldn’t close the deal and had no plan b.I would argue though that Ohtani is the best baseball player on the planet, why not go after him if you've got the money and he takes your call?
And Sasaki only cost international bonus money, shouldn't have affected Jays in free agency at all.
I mean there are reports they may have offered Corbin Burnes $250 million and thought they had him, but he asked his agent to call Arizona one last time and took $210 to play at home. There's only so much a team can do sometimes...
They definitely have a problem closing deals this offseason, no question. But what if there is no Plan B? If you're talking about SP, maybe Max Fried I guess but there's a lot of injury risk there and the Yankees gave him a lot of years. At some point they figured Sasaki was Plan B. If you're talking about a bat, Alonso, Bregman and Santander are still out there.Ya I mean the problem isn’t that they went after these guys. It’s that they couldn’t close the deal and had no plan b.
