Time for the bargain bin.
Given that, it would be foolish to count out any high-revenue team, though by now the field for Ohtani's services has winnowed, sources said. The Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox and New York Mets, who were among the initial group of suitors, have turned their attention to other players, sources said. Among those confirmed by sources to be still in the bidding: the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays and Angels. The San Francisco Giants have long had a fondness for Ohtani, though where they stand in these sweepstakes is unknown.
You’re feeling the same buzz too…I feel oddly bullish on this. Even if it meant trading one or both of Bo & Vlad, it’s much wiser to spend that money on Ohtani imo. Plus you still get a couple runs before you have to move them, and maybe the added success & revenue from having Ohtani helps you afford their extensions.
…and from Ohtani’s perspective Canada is remarkably popular amongst Japanese expats, and maybe he grew up loving Anne of Green Gables.
You’re just getting sucked into exactly what this brass wants, positive attention away from the shitshow of the end of season and Ross’ presserAll I can tell you is that there's a feeling. Can't quantify it on this one because the materialization of Ohtani in a Jays uni is just too mindblowingly exciting. It skews the sixth sense.

Yup and maybe never again , 2 Tommy`s and near 30Ohtani not pitching this upcoming season, right?
I struggle with the idea of Ihtani signing here without being convinced Bo and Vlad aren’t here long term. Or he probably has an opt out after 2 at minimumI feel oddly bullish on this.
