I will need to go back to Chicago to see a cubs game.
 
Go to Wrigley before they ruin it (is it already too late?). I've been all over the world. Wrigley is ridiculous.
 
I'm on a roll booking vacations, so I just booked a trip to England and Iceland in March. I'm sure many have been to London, but anyone check out Iceland yet?
 
Eco tourism is legit there. Glacier walks, whale watching, volcano tours are all worth doing. The thermal pools are pretty nice too. Cuisine is interesting. Lamb is all free range and really good. Icelandic hot dog needs to be tried as well.

I ended up going to Geordano's twice. Just too good. Also had Sunday brunch at the signature room at the 95th. Pricy but I'd recommend it. You get to see the view of the city (hence can skip paying for Willis/Sears tower) and enjoy great food as well.

There were no games at Wrigley on the day I wanted to go so I took a stadium tour. That place is a dump (and I loved it)

Overall, Chicago is my favourite US city now. I've been or lived in most major US cities.

Awesome... glad you enjoyed Giordano's and the city. It's my favorite city too.

I'd like to check out Wrigley as well... but my wife is a Sox fan so I'd need a divorce first.
 
I'm doing the European cruise next July with the extended family and staying a bit longer in Barcelona on the back end of the cruise. I have family near there but I want to stay by ourselves with my family. Anyone here do the apartment/hotel thing that they have a tonne of. Looking at the MH chain.( There are like 6 buildings throughout the city.) wondering which one.
Don't think I want to do airbnb as we'll be getting off the cruise and I want to go somewhere known. Any tips?
I've been to barca before but stayed with friends and without kids.

There is a W right near the cruise terminal.
