OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

So I'd thought I'd throw this in here, people might be looking for things to do this winter indoors.
I'm a big fan of these, I've solved some but I have maybe 5 on the go, getting more for Christmas.
Some of them are only 15 bucks, if you like puzzles that can be really hard these are great.
They don't even come with solutions.

That's awesome. Beyond interested. Thanks for posting.

These days, that means you're not really interested, and that your interest is fake.

re: Beyond Meat.
Hey I have about 5 windows open researching them vigorously right now. What if I could combine it with the Aeroplan Black Friday offer?:unsure::unsure::unsure:

PBS American Experience did a very informative Thanksgiving/Pilgrim deep dive the past week. Pretty excellent background on how the divide between the pilgrims in massuchessets and the slave owners in virginia goes all the way back to the first settling of the states, and how thanksgiving and the pilgrim narrative became the winning foundational tale only after Lincoln declared a unified national day of thanksgiving in the last week of november at the end of the civil war, which was then codified into a national holiday by Grant a few years later. of course before that part it does an excellent deep dive into the real pilgrim stories from their start in england, move to holland, and eventually their super grim journey over on the mayflower.

Also, while they're a bit cheesy and repetitive, I have to say all the History Channel 3-part miniseries the last few years have been super informative and pretty well done.

The Cars that Made America (also the single episode Speed Demons and Hot Rods & Muscle Cars)
The Food that Made America
Washington
Grant

What really sucks these holidays is my son couldn’t come down from Chicago for thanksgiving. We respect the dangers in the travel. Still sucks though.

Great three part doc on the long history of repression towards the working class in the US. You can learn about the origins of the FBI!
