What is the strangest encounter you've had when someone walked up to your car window at a fast food drive-thru?

I had noticed a fellow walking through a parking lot, because of the triangular plates on both sides of his jaws. They were obviously held in place by three bolts each. Odd thing to see.

Later, as I was sitting and waiting, the same guy walked up to ask for a cigarette. I gave him two. After he thanked me rather enthusiastically, I asked him, “What’s up with the two plates?”. He said he'd tried to mug a seventy-one year old man. The man had broken his lower jaw, with one blow to each side. And even wired, it was having trouble healing right. He said that a year ago, he was seventy pounds heavier, but the break had limited his food intake. He said now he was going to church, every time they had services. He hadn't been living right, to have tried to mug an old man. It was just wrong.

I stopped by my parent's house and told Dad I had… met his mugger.
