eh most optimistic forecast I've seen is like spring 2024? they could have really used them for the current counteroffensive. would have been a game changer. but yeah, good that the Ukrainians will be getting these, just wish it was sooner. The f 16 is such a good piece of gear. They will likely be a deciding factor should they arrive on time.
The Russians are in for a shit kicking.
There's no way that NATO should be doing anything overtly with the Ukies until the war is over. Letting them in now triggers Armageddon.
Are the Russians producing any new equipment? Or are they relying on the old broken shit still?
That's basically all I was saying. Of course NATO should be doing everything within its power to assist the Ukrainians. It's in everyone's best interests to see as many fascists killed as possible and, if possible, to help the war reach a tipping point where Putin is deposed. But they should not offer a formal membership until the war is over.Bad take.
There's a ton of things Nato can do now that signals support for Ukraine without granting them membership. Only membership would trigger Article 5.
Nato should be taking Ukraine by the hand and walking them down the guided path towards membership, with the understanding that Ukraine joins after the war is over.
That's basically all I was saying.
I'm sorry you misinterpreted.Have you considered trying to be more articulate?
Because, that's not what you said.
